High School Musical Costume

Posted by WhiteCoat on September 29, 2007

OK, only those with kids who watch Disney movies will appreciate this one. Mrs. WhiteCoat made me laugh the other day.

Looking for a Halloween costume for the WhiteCoat children, I came across a “Gabriella Dress Up Set” at Buy.com. My kids watch High School Musical 1 and 2 so much that I hear the songs in my sleep. Sent Mrs. WhiteCoat an e-mail asking whether she thought that WhiteCoat children would like the costume. Her comment?
“It’s missing the cell phone.”

For those of you not forced into the High School Musical scene by your “tweenagers,” Gabriella had a little lapse in judgment earlier in the month and some nekked pictures she took of herself with her cell phone were “accidentally” posted on the internet. See links below (no nudity).

Then again, I noticed that the dress up set does come with “8 photos.” Maybe Disney is moving to expand their market share to other age groups …

Heck, I’d let my kids use my cell phone for their costumes just to see the looks they get from their classmates and teachers.

No I don’t have any tween agers. My oldest son is 27 and my youngest son will be 19 in a few days. I could be dreaming about Halo 3 or some war game like that. Or baseball and football! :)

I do however have a beautiful 6 yr old granddaughter who recently told me that she really likes a boy named David who is in her class and that she wishes she could wear lipstick! :)

    Funny post! :)
